Modern building regulations and restrictions meant that the historic Chandos House, a former St John’s almshouse in the heart of Bath city centre, became unfit for its original purpose. We therefore took it upon ourselves to redevelop it for the benefit of the local community.
Working in partnership with a range of local experts, an innovative redevelopment saw this Grade II listed building completely transformed into seven elegant apartments for the over 65s. The redevelopment created a new funding stream for us, which we use to support fulfilling our charitable objectives.
