We want our website to be easy for everyone to use.
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standard. This means we design our website so it is accessible to as many people as possible, including those with visual, hearing, motor or cognitive impairments.
What we’ve done
We have designed this website to be:
- Clear and easy to read, with good colour contrast and simple language
- Easy to navigate, including using a keyboard
- Compatible with screen readers and assistive technology
- Responsive across different devices and screen sizes
- Structured with headings and layouts that make content easier to follow
We also aim to:
- Use meaningful link text so it’s clear where links go
- Add alternative text to images where needed
- Avoid unnecessary complexity or clutter
Ongoing improvements
Accessibility is an ongoing process. We regularly review and update our website to improve usability and make sure it continues to meet accessibility standards.
