Chapels

St John’s Foundation chapels are an important part of our heritage and history. They are open to everyone and offer a quiet place to reflect or take a moment for prayer, as well as the chance to explore some of Bath’s historic places.

St Michael’s Within

Located in the courtyard at Chapel Court, the Chapel of St Michael’s Within welcomes people of all faiths and none.

Open daily, it offers a peaceful place for reflection and prayer. A Chaplain is based on-site and provides pastoral and spiritual support to residents and visitors.

Magdalen Chapel

Home to a friendly Christian community, Magdalen Chapel is situated out of Bath City Centre in Holloway.

The Chapel is open to visitors on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 4pm to 6pm, and on Saturdays from 11am to 1pm. It is licensed by the Church of England and is available for weddings and christenings by application to the Chaplain.
