Community at 67

Community at 67 is in the process of reviewing the services and business plan. As part of this review we have carried out a survey of all local services in the Keynsham South Ward – this has included talking to schools, health workers, police, faith based groups, voluntary groups, housing agencies (Curo). We are still on our journey of research but lack of availability of groups for families has been identified. The local toddler group is often full and they turn families away, these groups offer support for children and parents in an informal setting. One of the issues we might explore is how we can facilitate more provision – this possibly wont be child care which would be huge step but more basic sessions where parents can simply meet. I believe our ward has the highest % of young than any other wards in BANES
