At St John’s Foundation, our mission is to help people across Bath and North East Somerset live well and feel supported – whatever their stage of life.
Our almshouse community is at the heart of everything we do – offering safe, comfortable housing for people over 65, along with the right support to help them live independently and with confidence.
We run a diverse programme of activities that encourages older adults to stay active and connected to those around them. We also provide support through our outreach work, where we collaborate with local partner organisations to make sure vital support reaches those who need it most.
And today, our work goes even further.
Since 2020, we have been working to reduce the stark KS2 education gap in Bath and North East Somerset. Our Best Start in Life Initiative focuses on providing support for schools and teachers, ensuring they can support children who need a bit of extra help to thrive in school and beyond.
We also work to support people facing financial crisis, with advice and direct help when it matters most.
