St John’s are delighted to announce the launch of our Community Hub and activities program at our Combe Park site.
Conveniently situated along five bus routes, with on-site parking also available, the newly refurbished Royston Tucker suite is a vibrant space for mature adults to come together, learn new skills and enjoy each other’s company.
When it comes to enjoying a fulfilling life, we consider age to be an insignificant detail- our ability to learn and develop a love for something new is still very much intact. At St John’s, we strive to provide an environment where attendees can connect with like-minded individuals and form friendships whilst rediscovering a passion for learning.
Along with the chance to engage with alms apartments residents and those from the surrounding area, our Community Hub offers an extensive activities programme providing a range of classes and events that we encourage all to explore. The classes – specifically designed to promote both independence and community- will support you in developing new skills, assist with current projects, or rediscover hobbies close to your heart.
Our Good Living programme, which can be browsed below, is designed around the Five Way to Wellbeing- a useful guide that focuses on the promotion of mental, physical, and emotional wellbeing. We hope that our programme provides the foundation to fostering happiness and autonomy in individuals of all ages.
